What is ShoZu Slideshow?

With ShoZu Slideshow, you can upload your camera phone pictures and videos to your own online Flash player, aka ShoZu Slideshow. The coolest part about your Slideshow is that it can easily be posted to essentially any web site for all to see – your social networking profile, your blog, anywhere.

Every time you add new content, all copies of your Slideshow will be automatically updated with your new photos and videos!

Your friends and family can also post a copy of your Slideshow to their personal pages – a perfect way to keep up to date with what’s going on in your world.

Does ShoZu Slideshow cost anything?

Both the ShoZu Slideshow and ShoZu for your phone are available free from ShoZu, but every time you send a photo or video from your camera phone, carrier data charges will apply. Check with your network operator on cost effective data plans that fit your needs.

How do I get my own ShoZu Slideshow?

Getting started is easy:

1. Grab your mobile phone
2. Take a picture or video
3. Send it via email or MMS to now@shozu.com
4. We'll send you your user name and password. Simply log-in using this information and you’re ready to go! If you did not receive a temporary password please click here for an alternative sign-up process

If you can’t send emails from your phone, you can use your phone's text messaging system. Instead of sending the text message to a phone number, you can type in: now@shozu.com.

How do I send my camera phone pictures and videos to my Slideshow?

After you create your Slideshow account, there are two ways you can send your camera phone pictures and videos to your Slideshow.

• Upload in one or even zero clicks using ShoZu for your phone. Simply add now@shozu.com as a new Email Destination. Be sure that the email address associated with your ShoZu account is the same email address tied to your Slideshow account. If they’re different, we won’t know where to send your content!

OR

• From your phone, simply email or MMS your pics and vids to now@shozu.com.

How do I post my Slideshow to my site?

There are two ways to post your Slideshow:

1. Use the direct post tool: On the ‘Get This” page, simply click on the logo associated with the site where you wish to post your Slideshow. Enter your account details for the particular site, and your Slideshow is automatically posted. It’s important to note that we do not store or share your user names and passwords.
2. Simply click on the ‘Embed’ tab in Step 2 of the ‘Get This’ page and copy and paste the code into the destination where you intend to post your Slideshow.

The way in which you post your Slideshow will probably differ depending on which sites you’re posting to – MySpace is different from Vox, and Bebo is different from Blogger, etc.

For most sites, all you need to do is copy is the string of code found in the ‘Get this Slideshow’ section of ShoZuSlideshow.com. On most social networking sites, you’ll simply need to log-in to your profile or blog, edit your profile or add a post, and paste the string of code into the form field. Most sites today will recognize the code and will publish your Slideshow.

Can my friends and family get a copy of my Slideshow?

Of course they can!

You can either email everyone you know a copy of the code for your Slideshow OR, if they happen upon your Slideshow on your profile or blog, they can simply click on the video or photo and they’ll be taken to a page to copy and paste the code into their own site. This way they can get up to the minute content from you every time you upload a new video or photo from your camera phone!

Can I use ShoZu Slideshow if I don’t have the ShoZu application on my phone?

Yes you can, by simply emailing or sending an MMS to now@shozu.com, but we highly recommend you download the ShoZu application to your phone for one click or even zero click uploading of your pics and vids to your Slideshow as well as over two dozen of today’s most popular web destinations.
